Melanie's birthday was on Thursday, but we had a school function for the kids on that day. So we had her birthday dinner tonight.

We had all our available family. However, Alan was out because he was in school in New York, and Andrew was out because he had to work.
The meal was delicious. It was one of the best roasts ever.

Alan did get to show up though. We held a video chat with him for most of the meal. He was quite sad when we told him how good the food was. However, it was a lot of fun and the technology worked very well.

Jessica and Janae were trying to get a spoon from their nose to their mouth. They figured it out, but we laughed a lot at them in the mean time.
